Prepare For Your Appointment

Appointments
Appointments can be scheduled by calling (614) 527-2562. We ask that you call in advance to schedule your appointments. If you are unable to keep the appointment, please give 24 hours’ notice in order that another patient may be given that time. We reserve the right to charge for recurrent missed appointments.
Please call during regular office hours to schedule appointments or ask medical questions. Our staff will make every effort to address the reason for your call in a prompt fashion. It helps if you save your non-urgent questions and direct them to the physician during your office visit. Otherwise, please call during the hours that your physician is usually in the office so that our staff and your physician can best meet your needs. If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911. If you have urgent medical questions you may call at any time and the physician on call will assist you.
If you have an urgent medical need after hours, please call the Medical Bureau at (614) 784-4663, or the office at (614) 527-2562 to receive further instructions for reaching the physician on call. If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
Prescription Policies and Information
Your physician will generally prescribe your long-term medication in sufficient quantity to cover you until the time of your next appointment. Since many patients obtain their prescription medication from a mail order service, follow up visits should be scheduled early enough to give you time to get your medication renewed prior to running out. Some prescription benefit companies require certain non-generic medication to be pre authorized which may delay the timeliness in getting your medication to you. We will work with them to provide the necessary medical information sufficient to get the prescription approved. We cannot guarantee that your medication will be approved by your insurance company. In the event you run out of medication prior to your next visit and require a short-term prescription, we have a prescription refill option available through our telephone system. Call (614) 527-2562 and follow the voice prompts. We do not accept fax prescription requests from pharmacies. Please allow 48 hours to refill your renewed medication.
